Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 November 2026 · Applies to the Mina AI app and its companion web pages

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Mina AI. They're written in plain English on purpose. The two parts that matter most: Mina is not medical advice (section 2), and never use Mina in an emergency (section 3). Questions: fabian@axomai.ai.

1. Who we are

Mina AI is run by Axom.ai Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no. 17216153), registered office: Flat 4, 117 Sandy Lane North, Wallington, SM6 8LA, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms; if you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

2. What Mina is — and is not (medical disclaimer)

Mina is a wellbeing companion. It provides general information and lifestyle support relating to menopause and wellbeing — it is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Content in the app, including responses generated by artificial intelligence, articles and weekly reading, nutrition guidance from food photos, guided exercises, and insights from your symptom or sleep tracking, is for general information only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, and it is not tailored to your medical circumstances.

Using Mina does not create a doctor–patient or any other clinical relationship. Never rely on Mina to make decisions about your health, and never delay seeking, disregard, or stop medical treatment (including hormone replacement therapy or any prescribed medication) because of something you read in the app. Always consult your GP or another qualified healthcare professional about any health concern, before starting or changing any treatment, and before acting on any information in the app.

Guided exercises are gentle and general: move at your own pace, stop if anything hurts or feels wrong, and check with your GP first if you have a condition or injury that movement could affect.

3. Do not use Mina in an emergency

If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest emergency department. For urgent medical advice in the UK, call NHS 111. Mina cannot assess urgency and is not monitored by clinicians.

4. AI-generated content

Mina's chat, voice and reading features use artificial intelligence. AI-generated responses are produced automatically, are not reviewed by a clinician, and can be wrong — even when they sound confident. They're labelled in the app as AI-written general information. You are responsible for verifying anything that matters to you with a qualified source.

5. Who can use Mina

You must be 18 or over. The app is designed for people going through perimenopause and menopause and is offered to consumers in the United Kingdom.

6. Your account

7. Acceptable use

Don't:

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things (section 12).

8. Price, subscriptions and your right to cancel

Mina is currently free. If we introduce paid features or a subscription, we'll show you the price, what it includes, how often it renews and how to cancel before you pay, and purchases made through the App Store or Google Play will follow that store's payment and refund process. As a UK consumer you'll keep your statutory rights, including the 14-day cancellation right for distance purchases — where you ask for immediate access to paid digital content, we'll ask for your express agreement and acknowledgement that you lose that right, as the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 require. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

9. Your content and ours

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law — and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that: we provide the app with reasonable care and skill, but it depends on third-party AI providers and may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted or wrong. We are not liable for losses caused by relying on app content against section 2, for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for business losses — the app is for personal use. Where we are liable to you and the app was free, our total liability is limited to £100; if you have paid for a subscription, it is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to the app or these terms

We improve the app often, and features may change or be withdrawn. If we make a material change to these terms we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app; if you keep using Mina after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the app and, if you wish, delete your account.

12. Ending things

You can stop using Mina at any time — erase your data from the phone in the app, and delete your account if you have one. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first so you can export your data.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be heard in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your home courts, and you keep any protections of your local consumer law.
